"I love lamp..."

Tyler says the funniest things lately! Which is good because he also drives me nuts alot lately so him making me laugh saves me some frustration and him a spanking. Anyway, if you've seen Anchorman you'll know why I laugh. Out of nowhere Tyler will take off running saying he loves whatever he gets distracted with. Random things. And once he starts it takes him a while to stop. A few days ago he ran from the kitchen screaming "I love you umizoomi (a tv show) I love airplane, I love floor, I love mommy, I love couch, I love cookies..."
and yesterday - "I love quesadilla, I love triangles, I love plate, I love chair."

Jackson Hole

I can't believe my nephew is 8! Everybody went to Jackson Hole to celebrate and be there for Elijah's baptism. It was the best one I've ever been to. It was small and personal and really an amazing day. We're so proud of him! It was also a great opportunity to see some of my family I hadn't seen in about a year. I didnt realize I didn't get any pictures of my mom with the kids or pictures with my brothers Zack and Lorenzo. I hate that. Soo frustrating when you live so far away.

Benson Update

He is such a chunk! Weighing in just under 15 pounds at 3 months, he's a bald monster compared to what Tyler was. He has a completely different head shape but looking more and more like Tyler did everyday.

He's such a good baby. Tyler seems to enjoy him a little more these days. Its the cutest thing watching them giggle at each other. I love it.

Not sure why people keep telling me what an adorable girl I have though.???

Has anyone else's kid had a mini meltdown because they thought Mater from Cars was broken??? Tyler was playing with his little toy cars from the movie and he was so upset that Mater was "missing" a headlight. All he kept saying was "find it" "missing circle." - for like half an hour. Just my OCD kid? That's what I thought.

What an odd child I have. Not that this is any new realization, but whatever. So he loves when we go over to our friends' house because they have an awesome backyard and a giant yellow lab named Honey - or as Tyler calls her, Honey Doggie. It doesn't matter what temperature either. Monday he played outside with her for 3 hours! And the awesome mother that I am, didn't even think to bring a hat or gloves or more than just a hoodie even. It's finally time to go. It's dark, it's cold, his hands are on the verge of frostbite. Does Tyler cry about it? No, but I would. Does he cry when I have to remove like 12 splinters he got from climbing on their snowmobile trailer? No. He doesn't even cry when I pour hydrogen peroxide on his first decent cut on his hand. He cried because I tried to put a bandaid on it. What a wierdo. What kid doesn't like bandaids? Especially spongebob ones.

Baby Blessing

All of Aaron's family happened to be in town for his Grandpa's 90th birthday party so we decided to bless Benson a week earlier than planned. I've never seen a bigger circle; it was a little ridiculous but it was all family except for 2 of Aaron's closest friends. We were glad to have them all there.
