So I actually didn't end up taking any pictures on the 31st because I forgot to put one of my memory cards back in the camera (duh) so these are the day before when we took Tyler to the pumpkin patch and went to the Blacks for more partying.

Another Wedding!

So congratulations to Aaron's brother David and his new wife Michelle. They couldn't have picked a more gorgeous day to get married...like the other 50 couples that get married in Salt Lake. I don't think they noticed though :)

Pre-Halloween Party

Our friends had a little early Halloween party - I think just to get more use out of the costumes. Luckily, I had brought a costume home from my mom's house but because it was almost 2 weeks early I had not had the time to accessorize. So without the black tights I had intended to buy, his skinny little legs made it too funny. Plus the black socks reminded me of an old man....

So Tyler and I get home from our trip and Aaron tells us to go upstairs because he got something while we were gone. A little surprised because it would be a little out of character for Aaron to actually go out and shop, he then explained that we were just borrowing this from Tyler's cousins since they are way too big for it. Either way he loves it! I just wish he was big enough to get on it himself!

My best friend from high school (the only person I've kept in contact with) just got married! She had asked me to come and be her maid of honor (I guess matron, right?) which was awesome because I wouldn't have been able to see her very much otherwise - always so busy! I was so excited to be part of the wedding and have a chance to spend some time together. I had a blast and enjoyed my mini vacation while my mom took care of Tyler - thanks mom! I just wished I would have taken more pictures!

Party Time!

Tyler's party was great but I'm glad it's over. I definitely think I put way too much effort into a party for a 1 year old. It probably would have been easier to buy a cake but I had fun making it myself. We had it outside at Aaron's parents' house in their big backyard and the weather was perfect. I think everyone had a good time. Tyler had kind of a rough start that day (He threw up after breakfast and then fell and got a bloody nose just after we arrived) but he survived. We ate lunch and then had cake, which turned out to be pretty uneventful. I was kind of hoping for him to tear it apart and smash it or something, but no. He just licked the icing a bit and was finished. Oh well, maybe next year. Thanks to everyone that came and made it fun!

Happy Birthday Tyler!

I can't believe Tyler is 1 already! We celebrated like any other typical day. He accompanied me to lunch and shopping with our friend Karyn. She was even able to snap a few photos for us. We finished out our day with Aaron coming home and while moving one of our dining room chairs, managed to knock Tyler down AND whack him on the back of the head with the chair. So thoughtful, right? So happy birthday - more pictures to follow after his little party this Saturday.
